Company to Add Another UPS4 This Spring
WAYNE, NJ – Reed-Lane – a New Jersey-based contract packaging provider that serves leading RX, OTC, and generic drug manufacturers – has completed its first new product launch on its recently installed Uhlmann Packaging Systems UPS4 MT Blister line. Blisters were packaged on the premium blister line, which can produce up to 600 blisters per minute and features a dedicated Aylward product feeder, an Uhlmann VisioTec vision system and an in-line Uhlmann cartoner.
The company has four main specialties within the pharmaceutical contract packaging industry: blister packaging, bottling, pouching and convenience vial filling. The new drug from a top pharmaceutical company come in blisters housed in a secondary folding carton, which was packaged in-line via the Uhlmann system.
This spring, Reed-Lane will install a second UPS4 Blister Line, as the contract packager continues a push toward broader, enhanced services and capabilities.
